About me

Dr. Mahesh Jangid is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), with over 11 years of teaching and research experience in prestigious academic institutions. He has an impeccable academic record and a keen interest in advancing research in deep learning, computer vision, and document analysis & recognition. Dr. Jangid is GATE, SET, and NET qualified. He earned his B.Tech in Engineering from Rajasthan University (2007), followed by an M.Tech from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar (2011). He later completed his Ph.D. from Manipal University Jaipur, focusing on deep learning applications in computer vision and document recognition. His research interests span machine learning, soft computing, pattern recognition, and image processing. Over the years, he has mentored numerous Bachelor’s and Master’s students in the fields of Deep Learning and Digital Image Processing. He has published and presented more than 40 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences across India, Vietnam, Almaty, Tashkent, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, and Phuket. Dr. Jangid has played a key role in fostering academic collaboration and knowledge dissemination. He has organized two major international conferences: International Conference on Security of Information and Networks (SIN) International Conference on Next Generation Communication & Information Processing Additionally, he conducted a 15-day summer program on “Neural Networks and Its Applications” in collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland, held at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore. As an IEEE Senior Member, Dr. Jangid plays a pivotal role in IEEE activities and is also affiliated with other prestigious global societies, including CSTA-ACM, IEEE Computer Society, UACEE, and IAENG. He serves on the reviewer board of various reputed journals and contributes as a technical program committee member for multiple renowned international conferences. With his dedication to research, academic excellence, and professional engagement, Dr. Jangid continues to make significant contributions to the fields of Deep Learning, AI, and Computer Vision.
